'Showboat' is of five beautiful Pink (Major Mitchell's) Cockatoos drinking at a waterhole. They have the largest crest in relation to their body of any Australian bird. The title of this painting reflects what I see in the bird on the left, a Look at Me attitude while mimicing the dancing girls on riverboats in the 1800's.
